Coaching

ESFA will run coaching courses for coaches to gain FFA approved community coaching accreditations.

You can start off at any level so pick the course that best suits your needs and the needs of the players you are coaching.

Details of upcoming courses run by ESFA will be published on this page when they become available.

Courses run by Football NSW and by other associations can be found at the Football NSW Coach Education page. This page lists courses all over Sydney and NSW that are open to anybody. Football NSW also have terrific Player Curricula for coaches of junior teams.

When you book into a Junior, Youth or Senior course, you will need to download and print the relevant participant manuals for that course to take with you. Pre-read the manual before attending to get the most out of it that you can.

Participant manuals for the courses are below:

Participants in coaching courses must download, print and fill out the FFA Coaching Code of Ethics form. This will be collected by your instructor at the start of the course.

Don't forget to check out the FFA's page of Coach Education Resources has lots of useful and informative material and resources available to help you add to your coaching.
