How did it all begin?
The program was established by former ESFA Competitions Manager, Taleah Neowhouse. It officially kicked off on 17 April 2010 at Heffron Park with just five players, but quickly grew to fifteen by the end of the season, which became a great success.
ESFA is also grateful to the coaching staff of the White Knights during their inaugural season.
- John Hunt, from Coogee United, volunteered for the program and brought with him professional experience working with people with special needs.
- John Casey joined the program from Love Football. Casey has a wealth of coaching experience with children with autism.
The team was established with the long term goal of providing an opportunity for the players to step into the world of football, including playing in competitive matches.
