Skills Acquisition Program

ESFA participates in the FNSW Skill Acquisition Program (SAP).

SAP incorporates the fundamental principles of the FFA National Curriculum and MiniRoos Regulations, including match formats, training loads, match loads, program duration and field dimensions.

Teams will participate in the following age groups:

•                     U9: boys and girls born in 2008

•                     U10: boys and girls born in 2007

•                     U11: boys and girls born in 2006

•                     U12: boys and girls born in 2005

This is a residency based program - all players must live in the Metro-East boundaries, comprising the Eastern Suburbs, St George and Canterbury association boundaries.

ESFA SAP plays its home games on Sunday mornings and trains twice a week through the pre-season and three times a week during the winter season. The season will runs for 18 games and 2 gala days.

In keeping with the principles of the National Curriculum and MiniRoos, tables and results are not kept.

Trials will be held from mid-October - details will be announced on our website and this page when confirmed.
