ESFA is taking expressions of interest for the Regional League in 2014.
The Regional League is for boys aged between 12-15 and offers players an additional football opportunity. It incorporates the fundamental principles of the Skills Acquisition phase of the FFA National Curriculum for U12 and U13 players Game Training phase of the FFA National Curriculum for U14 and U15 players.
Players in the Football NSW Regional League register and play for their local grassroots Club and in addition will train with the ESFA Regional League sides and play a number of games for ESFA against other clubs across Sydney and NSW.
ESFA Regional League will play its home games on Sunday mornings and will train once a week in addition to the local ESFA competition.
We will be conducting trials between the 24th November and 6th December this year, and will announce more details in coming weeks.
ESFA has had a proud history with youth representative programs; including winning the Centenary Cup in 2011 and 2012 as well as produce players that now compete in the Premier League 1 and Premier League 2 competitions. We were also one of the inaugural licensees for the revamped Football NSW Skills Acquisition Program in 2013
