Office Closure Dates

The ESFA office will be closed from 5 pm Friday December 13 to Monday, 13 January 2014.

Post AGM wrap up

The Board thanks clubs for their attendance at the Annual General Meeting and welcomes clubs’ support in the motions put to the Annual General Meeting. The Board is committed to reconciliation and the clubs’ support gives the Board a mandate to act.

My Football Club Registrations

Don’t forget, MFC registrations open on the 2nd of January so everyone can get started and register early for the 2014 season. ESFA’s fees are in the system, so feel free to start setting up your packages.

Coaching Courses

We are looking to run more coaching courses in 2014 and we are planning to announce the first of these in January.

We want these to be accessible to all coaches in the area and we hope that with your assistance we can make that happen.

Championship Divisions

In 2014 we will be rebranding the top division of each age group as the ESFA Championship Division. This will bring greater recognition to our top divisions in each age group and establish a clear pathway from our youngest competitive age groups to our oldest.

This change will also mean that our Premier League competition will carry a new name, the ESFA Men’s Championship.

Age Groups/Division for 2014

We also wish to remind you to start thinking about the teams/divisions you’ll be having in 2014. We’re currently planning on running the following age groups:

·         Boys (U12, U13, U14, U15, U16, U18)

·         Girls (G12, G14, G16, G18)

·         Men (U21, O35M, O45M, AAM, Championship)

·         SSF (U6, U7, U8, U9, U10, U11, G8, G9, G10, G11)

·         Women (U21, AAW, O30W)

Looking to 2014

From all of us in the office and on the Board we’d like to thank all of you for your hard work and support. We hope you have a safe and happy holiday and we look forward to working with you all again in 2014.
