URGENT UPDATED INFORMATION:
FNSW has advised us this morning (Friday 11th July, 2014) that contrary to earlier advice, all State Titles trials are to commence "next" weekend (20th July, 2014) not this weekend (13th July, 2014) as previously advised. Please see below for further information.
The Football NSW State Titles are conducted annually by Community Football for boys Grades 11-15 and girls Grades 12-16 and are an essential part of the recognised pathway for State team selection.
The Titles are split between July and September for selection purposes and are traditionally held in the Country areas to promote the games in the rural areas of the state of New South Wales.
The Metro East State Titles Teams for Boys Under 12 and U15 and Girls U12 and U14 are open to all players from National Premier League, Regional Youth League and Association Club teams that reside in the following Association areas, Canterbury, Eastern Suburbs and St George.
SPECIAL NOTE: The City Central/West U16 girls team will be open to all players from National Premier League, Regional Youth League and Association Club teams that reside in the Metro East and Metro West regions, combining the Canterbury, Eastern Suburbs and St George Association Areas with the Blacktown, Granville and Napean Association areas. These trials will commence at a later time to be advised and will no longer be held this coming Sunday.
Players are expected to be at each trial 30 minutes before the advertised registration and are not to trial in any representative, state, national or club playing strip.
Players will not be permitted to trial without the following information:
- Completed player Nomination form (download doc)
- Supplied proof of residency at time of trial
- Photocopy of Utilities bill or Parents drivers licence is sufficient for initial proof and will be attached to the trail form
- Residential address registered at Football NSW has to be in the above areas and will determine final residency qualification
