ESFA is very proud to support and host Epilepsy Action Australia fundraising charity football event in conjunction with the ESFA Men's Championship Grand Final at Hensley Field on Saturday 6th September, 2014.

The Celebrity Football Charity Challenge will be a "pro-am" style fundraising match with ESFA Clubs invited to participate.

Much needed funds and the raising of awareness in support of Epilepsy Action Australia is the purpose of the day. Epilepsy Action Australia undertake research and advocacy and delivers innovative, high quality services across Australia, to optimise life outcomes for people with epilepsy.

Teams will consist of both ex professionals (Socceroos) and ESFA amateur club players.

In addition to Paul Wade, Ambassador of Epilepsy Action Australia and Mark Robertson, the following players have confirmed their willingness to participate:  Brett Emerton, Steve Corica, Terry McFlynn and Sydney FC have confirmed their involvement in marketing and support.

To help support this worthy cause, please contact your Club for further details.

We look forward to a highly successful day of football and fundraising for both the Charity Challenge and the ESFA Mens Championship Reserve and First Grade Grand Finals.

Further details will be updated as they come to hand.

Set this date in your diaries and help us support a worthwhile cause while enjoying the display of quality football at its best.
