The UNSW Football Club is pleased to announce that positions in its Girl’s Supplementary Skills (GSS) Program U/10 and U/12 squads for 2015 are now open.

This is an opportunity only open to girls who will register in ESFA MiniRoos or Girls teams, and is a supplement to their club football.

Successful players who make the UNSW squads will enjoy the highest quality facilities, training at the clubs David Phillips Memorial Fields in Daceyville, as well as fully accredited coaching from Football Australia and AFC licensed coaches.

Trials will be held on the following dates at the David Phillips Memorial Fields in Daceyville:

  • Sunday, February 8 (8/2/15), 8:00am to 9.15am
  • Tuesday, February 10 (10/2/15), 4:00pm to 5.15pm
  • Thursday February 12 (12/2/15) 4:00pm to 5.15pm

All players will need to bring boots, shin pads, and water bottles.

UNSW FC successfully ran the inaugural Football NSW accredited program for girls in 2014 with outstanding results for all players involved.

All of last season’s intake of players enjoyed their opportunity and a very high proportion of them fulfilled their aim of progressing to play at representative level. Many are now playing in either Football NSW National Premier League Women’s 1 or 2 and many represented METRO EAST at the 2014 State Titles.
