ROUND 1 - ESFA Competition Kick Off Is Finally Here

Published: 27/03/2015 3:07:00 PM
We finally have one more sleep to go.

The weekend of 28th and 29th March, 2015 will see the ESFA competition commence for all players U12 to O45s!

Our Miniroos will be playing intra Club games for one weekend. We ask that they please check with their Club for further information.

The parks are ready to be overwhelmed with our players!

A few housekeeping points for ALL to be aware of -

  • No ID/No Play - all players who were registered, active, with photos and allocated to teams by their Clubs by the registration deadline, will have cards issued. If a player does not have a card, their registration was not completed in time
  • We have new referees on the parks. Please be respectful. They are learning their craft just like new players on the fields
  • If you receive a yellow card for dissent toward referees, this card will count as two yellows in the system. When a player reaches 5 yellow cards, an automatic one game suspension is applied
  • Referee abuse will NOT be tolerated. Heavy suspensions will apply
  • Please check the uncovered games list for referee coverage Click Here. If no referee has been appointed, it is the home team's responsibility to provide a referee and that person must referee the entire match (no swapping unless an official referee turns up!). Please also note a Club referee has the same powers as an official referee and any cautions or send offs must be reported to the Referees Coordinator by 9:00am Monday
  • There are no Competition games on the Easter Weekend (only games that are being played are ESFA Cup/Trophy Games) and U6s to U18s are off until the end of the holidays (18th and 19th April). Seniors return on 11th April.
  • The 2015 Team Sheet is available in the library section 2015 Team Sheet. This is the only team sheet that may be used
  • Please avail yourself of our Competition Rules and RTO Manual in the library section of the website 2015 Competition Rules  2015 RTO Guide. Ignorance is NOT an excuse
With the housekeeping now done, we wish all our Clubs the best of luck on the weekend. Play in the spirit of the game and celebrate the beginning of the season!

See you all on the parks!
