In the Westfield FFA Cup Round 3, Coogee United, Waverley Old Boys and Dunbar Rovers all had solid victories whilst Pagewood Botany bowed out of the competition. Sydney's Eastern Suburbs will consequently be represented by two ESFA clubs in the upcoming Westfield FFA Cup Round 4, to be played on Tuesday March 31st and Wednesday April 1st and Dunbar Rovers State League 2.
TUESDAY MARCH 31
On Tuesday night, new State League 2 outfit Dunbar Rovers FC go head to head with 4 times NSW Premier League champions and current PS4 NPL 2 powerhouse Bankstown City Lions, with former Socceroos Michael Beauchamp and Dean Heffernan in their squad. Bankstown was forced to relinquish home ground advantage as their Jensen Park pitch is being re-sown, so 5sports in Caringbah will host instead. The winner of this game will have a home fixture in Round 5 against the winner of the game that will be taking place just one kilometre away along The Boulevarde, where ESFA Premier League giants Coogee United take on local outfit Como West Jannali from Sutherland Association.
