Dunbar Rovers Football Club after playing within the local Eastern Suburbs area for 25 years, will play their first State League 2 home game at Hensley Athletic Field on Saturday 18th April, 2015 taking on fellow State League newcomers Wagga City Wanderers.
Under 20s will kick off at 1:00pm and First Grade at 3:00pm. Dunbar is the first ESFA heritage Club to enter the world of elite football and it would be great to see some support for the football playing public.
Dunbar Rovers FC State League have got off to a flying start for the season by overcoming State League stalwarts Hurstville City Minotaurs in both First Grade (3-0) and U20s (3-2).
With no less than 13 nationalities represented across both squads, Dunbar Rovers is one of the most cosmopolitan clubs in Football NSW elite competition.
We wish Dunbar Rovers the best of luck in their first home game and look forward to following their progress with interest and support throughout the season.
Admission is free and with canteen facilities available, it promises to be a relaxing afternoon of top grade football.
