We have finally reached the weekend of the season where ALL our ESFA competition players take to the fields. From our U6s through to our less than old, the parks will be filled with football.

We are particularly excited to welcome all our Small Sided Football players to our SSF Hubs. We look forward to smiling faces and some wonderful games of football. Small Sided Football is alive and kicking in the Eastern Suburbs Football Association. We know ALL our SSF Clubs have been working incredibly hard behind the scenes to make this season a season to remember.

We are trying not to look at the impending weather forecast, however should the Councils close the grounds, we will regularly update all our wet weather options from 7:30am –

We ask that all Clubs be aware of referee coverage at their parks. Should there not be a referee appointed, it is up to the home team to supply the referee. Forewarned is forearmed. Uncovered Games By Club

We also take this opportunity to remind Clubs of the importance of spectator ropes at competition matches. We also remind our Clubs that it is the RTO and Club’s responsibility for their player and spectator behaviour. We want our games to be enjoyed by all parties, referees, players, coaches, managers and spectators.

We remind you all, the correct team sheet should be used. 2015 ESFA Team Sheet When borrowing players from a lower division, please ensure these players names are placed in the “players from lower age groups and divisions in same club” section of the team sheet. No player should be taking the field without their players card or ESFA PDF ID sheet. ESFA are administratively checking every team sheet, so please be aware of expectations.

We once again remind people of Social Media use. Our Facebook page is open from our young players and any derogatory or offensive comments will be removed.

Now with the information and important housekeeping done, let’s go out and play football!

Have a great weekend and see you on the parks.
