The carnival may be just about over for our Junior Competition for 2015 but for this weekend, we are still going to be witness to some brilliant football from our stars of the future.

Junior Grand Finals Update

Congratulations to all the teams that have made it through to this weekend!

We are as excited as you that the day is almost here, but we thought we had best give you all a reminder of expectations.

Hensley Athletic Field

http://www.botanybay.nsw.gov.au/Recreation/Parks-Gardens/Hensley-Athletic-Field

-    Synthetic grass sports field: accredited for football. You can wear normal moulded football boots but please NO SCREW IN STUDS. The surface isn’t much different to grass, except much more even bounce (and we can play if it rains). Teams may warm up at either end of the field in the day and the southern end at night (the end with futsal markings).

Please do not walk on the running track with football boots.

-     Change rooms: “Home teams” (team on the left hand side of the draw) to use change room on the left and “Away teams” (team on the right hand side of the draw) to use change room on the right. As a courtesy to the next team, please put all rubbish in the bin when you vacate the dressing room before half-time of your game.

Spectators: Covered grandstand (capacity 272 people) – no spectators allowed inside the fenced area.

There are toilets for spectators, located on either side of the grandstand.

-     Presentation stage: Both teams and Officials will receive accolades at the end of their match.

This is a great a chance for team captains to make a brief speech and invite their team mates on stage to receive their medal/s.

-     Canteen: food and drinks can be purchased here (DO NOT BRING ALCOHOL INTO THE VENUE)

-     ESFA staff: will be present on the day - Player ID’s will be checked by staff 10-15 minutes prior to each game, and an ESFA Official table will be setup, if you have any questions on the day. We are here to help make your day enjoyable!

-    Dug outs: Coaches, RTO’s and substitutes only. Please put all rubbish in the bin before the next match as a courtesy to the next team. All substitutes are to wear bibs (ESFA Will provide bibs).

-    Ball Girl or Boy: each team to provide a ball person to retrieve balls (an energetic kid would be ideal!)
