It may be Father’s Day on Sunday 6th September, 2015 but the women of ESFA will be displaying why women’s football is a dominant force in the ESFA Competition.

Clear League Champions and FNSW State Cup winners Dunbar Rovers FC AAW Championship will be looking to add one more to the prize pool in the farewell match for coach David Buck. The ladies have been training hard after their rest from competition after victory in their semi-final 1 nil against UNSW taking them straight through to Hensley.

Coogee United FC coached by former AAM Championship player Paul Redfern in his debut season as coach, have fought hard to reach the Grand Final at Hensley with a penalty shoot-out victory against Waverley Old Boys in their semi-final followed by a hard fought win over UNSW.

The statistics would have Dunbar Rovers FC as clear favourites from previous meetings however with Coogee United FC remaining match fit, anything could happen.

Dunbar Rovers FC looking to be doubly crowned for the second year running and Coogee United FC looking to bring back the Grand Final Champions trophy which has been missing since 2012!

Will it be a fairy-tale ending for David Buck’s ladies or will the new coach in town prove that football is never won until the final whistle!

In the words of Matilda’s striker Michelle Heyman  "I don't mind how it gets in the back of the net or who scores it as long as we're all working 100 per cent,"

All action in the AAW Championship Grand Final kicks off on Sunday 6th September, 2015 at 7:00pm.
