We congratulate all teams who competed last Sunday and asked some of our Semi Final berth teams for their match reports.

Coogee United AAM Championship

"The 8 hour journey was worth every minute"
"A great performance from the squad as they dominated the game against the battling Boomers FC.''
''2-0 winners and into the semi final of the Champion of Champions 2015.''
''Bus driver Fernando was delighted with the victory.''

Dunbar Rovers O35s

''Dunbar were in control most of first half and created lots of opportunities but failed to put away goal with a combination of good keeping and some wayward strikes.
The second half we started much stronger and this intensity resulted in a great header from a corner on 50 mins that saw a penalty awarded for handball on the goal line and a send off for the offence.  We subsequently took the lead 1-0 from a well taken Daniel Stubbs penalty.
The extra man certainly gave us the advantage and we continued to pile on the pressure looking for the second gal to kill of the match.  It finally came when a nice through ball saw striker Andrew McGaffney sprint away and one on one with the keeper calmly place the ball into the net to make it 2-0.  Job Done.''

Heffron Hawks U18s

''U18's travelled to Campbelltown for their match - and got off to a pretty poor start. Goals galore and the boys were down 1-3 after 25 minutes.
They got a second goal and went into half time at 2-3.
10 minutes before full time they scored with a joy and relief across the Heffron Supporters, staff and players. A lot of tired boys by this time - as the game finished at 3-3.
It took until half way through the second period of extra time for Heffron to get their Golden Goal Winner''

Congratulations also to Redfern Raiders who now have their U15s progressing through to the semi finals. Great job boys.

With Dunbar Rovers AAW Championship attempting to win everything this year and add to their growing amount of silverware, they too shall be progressing through. Power to the ladies!

And who could forget our masters of the competition Pagewood Botany O45s with a well earned victory. More to come!
