Important Dates For 2016 Football Season

While we begin the steady march to the starting line, below are important dates for all Clubs and their members to be put in their smartphones and diaries!

Pre-season dates

17 Feb, 2016 - Joint Council Meetings
22 Feb, 2016 - Clubs to submit indicative teams and possible gradings on the prescribed ESFA form
24 Feb, 2016 - ESFA issues summary of indicative teams as submitted by Clubs with some comments
29 Feb, 20116 - ESFA Special General Meeting
2 Mar, 2016 - Clubs to submit team nominations and grading requests with reasons and special time requests
7 Mar, 2016 - Women's Council Meeting
7 Mar, 2016 - Men's Council Meeting
8 Mar, 2016 - Girls Council Meeting
8 Mar, 2016 - Junior Council Meeting
9 Mar, 2016 - MiniRoos Council Meeting
11 Mar, 2016 - Final date for Clubs to lodge objections to gradings
14 Mar, 2016 - FMC Meetings to rule on objections
15 Mar, 2016 - Final Gradings Issued
21 Mar, 2016 - Final registrations due for players, coaches and managers
29 Mar, 2016 - Round 1 published
31 Mar, 2016 - Round 1 player and RTO cards ready to collect

Season Dates

2/3 Apr, 2016 - Season 2016 begins for all ESFA teams and players
16/17 Apr, 2016 - No Junior and MiniRoos football - middle weekend school holidays
23/24 Apr, 2016 - Juniors Competition and MiniRoos begins again 
11/12/13 Jun, 2016 - Junior and MiniRoos wet weather weekend
9/10 Jul, 2016 - No Junior and MiniRoos football - middle weekend school holidays
27/28 Aug, 2016 - Junior Grand Finals
3/4 Sep, 2016 - Senior Grand Finals
10/11 Sep, 2016 - Senior Grand Finals
