Round 5
– And then there was one!

Congratulations to Waverley Old Boys FC who are through to Round 5 of the FFA Cup taking on St George FC, NPL2, at St George Stadium on Wednesday 20th April, 2015 at 7:30pm. A brilliant opportunity for the lads of WOB to pit themselves against a FNSW Competition side.

We asked Waverley Old Boys FC AAM Championship Coach, Savvas Christou his thoughts leading into the match.

"I am proud of my players for their achievements thus far in the FFA Cup. We have battled to overcome solid opposition and our 2016 journey now takes us to NPL2 side St George. To add some extra spice to the evening, we will be facing one of our own in Nico Perez.

This season's playing group have an incredibly strong bond and we certainly possess the tools to cause an upset on Wednesday night.

The clash against St George is a huge opportunity for my team to showcase its true potential."

We wish Waverley Old Boys FC the very best of football in their 5th Round of the FFA Cup.  We hope to see some ESFA support at the park as we cheer on our fellow Association club in their continuing pursuance of victories.

We also wish Dunbar Rovers FC NPL3 the best of luck in their round 5 clash against Bonnyrigg White Eagles FC at Hensley at 7:30pm.

Perhaps both Clubs will etch their way into the football history books!
