Our Support To UNSW FC In A Time Of Sadness

Published: 30/06/2016 2:39:00 PM

The Eastern Suburbs Football Association were saddened to hear this morning of the tragic sudden passing of UNSW FC’s AAW player, Diana Organ on 29th June, 2016 surrounded by family and loved ones.

Diana not only played but coached the WSL U13s and was extremely involved in women’s football and had an overwhelming passion and joy in teaching the junior female footballers of the future. Diana also taught and coached at Newington College.

Diana leaves behind a wonderful and inspirational football legacy. We extend our heartfelt condolences to her family, loved ones and her beloved football family.

We ask that all women’s teams this Sunday observe a minute’s silence in respect to Diana and her short life. We also ask that any All Age Men playing UNSW this weekend also observe a minute’s silence.

The football community unites in its condolences to Diana. RIP.
