2016 FNSW Puma Champion of Champions Quarter Finals

Published: 5/10/2016 2:58:00 PM

Champions of Champions continues for 2016 as we reach the Quarter Final phase.

Sunday October 9th has seven ESFA Competition teams still in contention to be crowned 2016 Champion of Champions.

We keep a particular eye on Pagewood Botany G12s who in their previous round, defeated 2015 Champion of Champions Northbridge. They are now taking on Cooks River Titans.

Redfern Raiders U13 boys now meet Rouse Hill at Progress Park. A park that may be aptly named should they win through to the semis.

Redfern Raiders U15 boys take on Auburn District once again at Progress Park. Redfern Raiders looking to complete a double with both teams aiming for the semis.

Heffron Hawks U21 mens team have reached the Quarter Finals without kicking a ball! Let’s hope they can now advance through to the semis with a victory over Emu Plains at St Clair this Sunday and all their hard work in winning the double in the 2016 ESFA Competition pays off.

Dunbar Rovers AAW Championship are through to the Quarter Finals after Dubbo forfeited their previous round game. This does not mean the ladies are not match fit and ready to defeat Eurobodalla at Moruya this Sunday.

Dunbar Rovers AAM Championship are the other ESFA Competition team looking to add to their double trophy winning performances in 2016. Will they be the second AAM team in a row to complete the treble? It all depends on their results in their quarter final against Liverpool SC at Valentines Sports Park.

Pagewood Botany masters of football O45s are looking to secure a treble this season also after winning the League and Grand Final. The O45s are seeking back to back Champion of Champions trophies after being crowned in 2015. Will their match against St Michaels this Sunday at Valentines Sports Park allow the dream to continue?

Therefore, if you have not taken up any summer football and are feeling the symptoms of withdrawal, then look to support our teams at the following venues and times:
