Do You Have What It Takes To Become A Referee? It's Your Call.

Calling all senior players, coaches, managers and friends!

It’s time to put your whistles where your mouths are and become part of the solution for match official coverage for winter competition season 2017. Have you considered becoming a referee? Have you wanted to earn tax-free income (to assist in paying your player registration fees!), while still enjoying football? Have you finished your playing career but still want to remain involved in the game? Are you coaching or managing and yearning to have a run on the field? Do you have a fundamental understanding of the beautiful game?

At our post season 2016 Seniors Council Meeting, Senior Clubs asked that we run a course during January to not interfere with preseason trialing and weekend friendlies. We are pleased therefore to announce that a Seniors Only (over 18) Level 4 Referee Course will be held on January 22nd, 2017 at Matraville Sports High, Chifley.

The Course will run over one day with both the practical and theory components included.

For more information regarding the Course and to register, please click here.

We will be running further courses for all ages (turning 14 years old in 2017 is minimum age requirement) throughout February (stay tuned for more information shortly), however to ensure our growing senior competition is continually covered by match officials in 2017, this is an opportunity to enroll in a course suited to senior game coverage.

Get in early to avoid disappointment as numbers are limited!
