Welcome to Season 2017!
Less than 100 more sleeps till winter season start and our Clubs as well as ourselves, are hitting the ground running. Some of our Clubs have commenced their preseason training, some have been enjoying holiday camps and all our Clubs are working hard behind the scenes to ensure 2017 is a successful football year.
To find out if your Club has its registration live on MyFootball Club, contact them directly.
With all our age groups growing in number and proving that football is indeed the top community sport in Australia, we hope our prospective and current coaches will take advantage of our Coaching Courses and we trust our community will ensure referees are higher in number by registering for one of our Referee Courses (please note our Referee Course for 11th and 12th February is now full).
To understand the reason to become an accredited coach or referee, read more about where coaching can take you here and the top 12 reasons for becoming a referee here.
Some of our MiniRoos and Juniors are looking forward to January 20th when they participate in the Sydney FC Match Day when the Sky Blues take on Adelaide United at Allianz Stadium. We would like to thank Maroubra United, Mascot Kings, Pagewood Botany, Dunbar Rovers and Easts for assisting in the organisation of this great experience for the youngsters. We look forward to seeing the ESFA kids on the ground at Allianz! Read more about their experience after the game.
With MiniRoos forming a firm foundation for the successful future of football, check out the top 11 reasons every child should be playing MiniRoos, here. MiniRoos has extended this season to include our U12s. Please contact your Club for further information.
For all who are asking, our Summer Football 6 week season kicks off from Monday 16th January (there is still time to register a team but act quickly) and our Winter Football kicks off from Saturday 1st April, 2017. An updated Calendar of events will be available shortly of all important events.
While we get ready for a bumper year of football, we hope that our players are dusting off their boots and shin pads and running off the cheer of the festive season.
