Heartbeat of Football Gala Dinner

Published: 19/05/2017 11:09:00 AM

We all know the importance of a healthy heart, especially on the football field.

A member of our football family has founded Heartbeat Of Football and below is all the information needed if you wish to attend a gala dinner to help raise funds. We encourage all our players to test their hearts (not just their passionate ones for the game!).

The video and Fox story links below sum up the need for this event and the story below is from the founder of Heartbeat of Football. We hope our football family get behind such a great cause.

We are now very fortunate to have Tim Cahill as our global Ambassador along with two players who have suffered - Kiki Naumoff and Tony Vidmar.

Heartbeat of Football is hosting our first-year Anniversary Gala Dinner on Friday 2nd June 2017 at the prestigious Royal Randwick Racecourse. Our goal is to ensure everyone has fun playing the sport they love, and do so safely but to ensure our Heart Health Awareness Programme is a success, we need your support.

We have already held six great Events in our first year.

Media coverage has been strong. Last week Fox Digital wrote a comprehensive story about a growing issue in our great game:

Our MC for the evening will be the award-winning comedian Tahir Bilgic and we will also be entertained by Theo Farmakis (Rock Solid Duo).  Join us along with an array of special sporting guests to celebrate our one year anniversary with a delicious 3 course dinner including drinks and a DJ to dance the night away.
