The 2017 ESFA AGM was held on Monday 27th November, 2017 at Juniors At the Junction, Maroubra.

After four solid years of commitment to the ESFA Board, Sean Fenton retired as ESFA President and we wish to thank him for his diligence, hard work and time that was taken in this role.

Mark Puterflam stepped down as Treasurer after serving in the role for six years. Mark was fundamental in ensuring ESFA remained in the black and in a healthy condition. We thank Mark for his long service.

We wish both Sean and Mark the very best for the future.

The Ted Simmons Junior Football medal was awarded to Queens Park G18 Leopards. The Leopards have been together since G12s and have continued to play as a group of friends and remained non-selective.

With no players turned away, the team has improved each season with 2017 seeing them become G18 Premiers! With the ESFA philosophy of “Developing Football For Everyone”, this team proved an example by taking on players no matter their ability.

This team has also over 6 seasons, never forfeited a game, received a caution or red card and always had completed team sheets and players cards ready to go prior to each game. The girls within this team were drawn from 8 different schools and all many cultures, religious and socio-economic backgrounds, united by their common love of football.

Congratulations to the Queens Park G18 Leopards on their outstanding achievement. The award was received by Queens Park President Mark Jumikis and each girl in the team will receive a medal.

Our Annual Report was distributed at the AGM. Please see the link below to read a copy.
