Active Kids Rebate Program 2018

Published: 24/01/2018 3:23:00 PM

The NSW Office of Sport has introduced the Active Kids Rebate Program for 2018.

Active Kids is a program to help NSW families meet the cost of getting their kids into sport and recreational activities.

Every child (4.5-18 year’s old) enrolled in a school program (including home schooled and TAFE secondary education) from Kindergarten to Year 12, will be eligible for an Active Kids Voucher.

It is not means tested and should a family of four eligible children all play sport, each child has a single application.

The vouchers are valid from 1st February until 31st December 2018 and from 2019 will be for a complete calendar year. Each voucher expires at the end of each calendar year.

The vouchers can be used for registration fees for any structured activity of no less than 8 weeks’ duration including football. Vouchers can not be split amongst sports and are only redeemable for one sport. If your child plays many sports including activities such as swimming, rugby, dance etc, it is a personal preference which activity the voucher is used for.

Our junior clubs are willing to answer all your questions and are getting set up ready to go, assisting you in the financial restraints of sport registration.
