The ESFA Referees Branch have now completed their preseason Level 4 (entry level) courses for 2019.

With over 55 newly accredited referees (of these 13 senior referees) who we hope, will join the Referees Branch for 2019 and become part of the Match Officials team or use their knowledge in a Club capacity.

Our branch coach and technical advisors Jack Bell and Anthony Kabbout ran courses out of David Phillips and Waverley College. We wish to thank both Waverley College and UNSW  for their assistance with venues as well as Jack and Anthony for their time.

We have also held a Level 3 Course for current ESFA referees as well as a Level 2 Course which continues our further education to ensure referees are given scope for referee pathways, aptly run by our Referees Coordinator. This enables referees  when accredited (examination pass mark and assessment), to officiate at a higher level.

Our referees will be further educated at the Referees Branch Preseason Seminar on 17th March which will be followed by a second Level 3 Course.

We look forward to our new and returning referees taking to the parks this season.
