2019 Football NSW State Cups

The 2019 Football NSW State Cups have proved so popular that a preliminary round was held last weekend in some competitions! Not that it mattered to our ESFA teams playing with Waverley Old Boys AAM1, Coogee United AAM1, Dunbar Rovers AAM1 (Sat), Sydney Uni AAM1 (Sat) all making it through to Round 1. Unfortunately, Easts AAM3 (Sat) Black bowed out.

ESFA have had more teams enter in 2019 than in previous years which cements the idea of Intra Association matches and playing for a trophy to earn the right of the title of State Cup Winners!

Round 1 fixtures commence this weekend with the following teams in action who will be representing their Clubs and Eastern Suburbs Football Association:

Coogee United (finalists State Cup 2018) AAM1

Waverley Old Boys AAM1

Dunbar Rovers AAM1A, AAM1B and AAM1 (Sat)

South East Eagles AAM1 (Sat)

Sydney Uni AAM1 (Sat)

Queens Park AAM1 (Sat) Rangers

Easts AAM5 (Sat) Red and AAM5 White

Randwick City AAM Championship

Pagewood Botany U12

Dunbar Rovers U13 Championship Blue and White

Dunbar Rovers U15 Championship

Pagewood Botany U15A Championship

Heffron Hawks U16 Championship

Maroubra United G16 – G17 Championship

With even more teams entered who are yet to commence their campaigns, the promise of big things happening for ESFA teams in the State Cup is alive and well!

Wishing everyone the best of football this Sunday wherever they are playing with Coogee United lucky enough to have a home game at Heffron 46.

We hope to be able to host further State Cup home games in the following rounds, where we can all support and celebrate football in the ESFA.
