Eastern Suburbs Football Association was represented by 8 teams in the quarter final stage of the Football NSW Champion of Champions, it unfortunately wasn’t to be for 7 of our contenders.

We congratulate all teams and their coaches, who qualified and played in the 2019 Tournament. We recognise that 2019 saw the highest representation in the Quarter Finals by ESFA teams, since 2015. That season, 11 teams represented ESFA and their Clubs in the Quarter Final stage (prudent to note 6 teams moved onto the Semi Final stage in 2015 including Pagewood Botany O45).

The Champion of Champions Quarter Finals showed some close scores and on any other day, the result could have been reversed. But, that’s football!

All eyes now turn to Pagewood Botany O45 Championship who carry the flag into the semi final on Sunday 13th October when they face Inter Lions from Canterbury District Soccer Football Association at Strathfield Park (2).  Pagewood Botany have previously earned the Champion of Champions title in 2015. Inter Lions last appeared in the Champion of Champions final and earned the title! Should be a great match.

With our Masters carrying the flag for the Eastern Suburbs, we wish them all the best in the continuation of their campaign to become 2019 O45 Football NSW Champion of Champions.
