What information does ESFA collect and maintain?

ESFA collects personal information from members including the name, address, date of birth, contact details; including email addresses and mobile phone numbers. More detailed information is collected when you are a club official of an affiliated club.

Why does ESFA collect the information?

ESFA collects and maintains this information in order to:

  • Communicate with members
  • Pass on member’s information (with regard to registration and insurance) to ESFA’s governing bodies Football NSW and Football Federation Australia

Disclosure of your personal information

As with most organisations, ESFA sometimes relies upon third party providers to help provide specialised services to our members. These parties act on ESFA’s behalf. Whilst personal information may be provided to these third parties to enable them to perform their agreed activities, they are bound by confidentiality and non-disclosure agreements and in the case of professional providers bound by their individual regulatory bodies and/or codes of practices, and are prohibited from using the information for any other purpose. Please note ESFA will not pass information to third parties without a member’s consent, but will do where it is required by law. ESFA will also have a commitment to secure storage of and control of access to personal information that we maintain.

If you wish to contact ESFA in relation to this privacy statement or any other privacy issues, contact should be made with the General Manager at ESFA.

ESFA aims to ensure that your personal information is accurate, up to date and complete. Please contact us if you; would like to seek access to, or revise your personal information or feel that the information we currently have on record is incorrect or incomplete or if you do not wish to receive information from ESFA by mail, email or other means or if you believe that the privacy of your personal information had been interfered with.
