Boys’ Youth League

ESFA in partnership with UNSW FC, have applied to participate in the Football NSW NPL 2 Youth League competition for boys in age groups U13-16.

Players in the Football NSW NPL 2 Youth League will train two to three times per week and play matches against teams across Metropolitan Sydney on either Saturday or Sunday mornings.
Trials will commence in late October (dates/venue/times to be determined) and all information will be available on the ESFA website.

Teams will compete in the following age groups:

  • U13: boys born in 2008
  • U14: boys born in 2007
  • U15: boys born in 2006
  • U16: boys born in 2005

Boys Youth League incorporates the fundamental principles of the Skills Acquisition phase of the FFA National Curriculum for U13 players and the Game Training phase of the FFA National Curriculum for U14, U15 and U16 players.

Cost for the program for season 2021 is $1750 (TBC based on FNSW). This is ALL inclusive including uniform, player registration, training etc.

Boys Youth League is a key part of the FNSW Male Competition Structure.

  • Hakoah Sydney City East: National Premier League Men’s 2, National Premier League Youth (Tier 1)
  • Sydney University: National Premier League Men’s 3, National Premier League Youth (Tier 2)
  • Dunbar Rovers NPL: National Premier League Men’s 3, National Premier League Youth (Tier 2)
  • UNSW FC: National Premier League Men’s 4, National Premier League Youth (Tier 2)
