The match was ESFA’s dedicated Sydney FC match day. The intention of this dedicated match day was to celebrate the partnership ESFA has with Sydney FC, and as such, our communities junior players were invited to play matches at half time as well as other activities throughout the game.
We would like to give a huge thank you and congratulations to ESFA’s very own Maroubra United, South East Eagles, Glebe Wanderers, Easts FC, Maccabi Hakoah and Pagewood Botany FC for providing such amazing miniroos players to give the crowd of 5,667 people a masterclass in football! We are confident this would have been a memorable experience for these young footballers who will hopefully carry on a love of the game for years to come.
