2020 Level 4 (Entry Level) Referee Courses
With 2020 Winter Season is fast approaching (it’s just over 11 weeks till season start), it is of utmost importance to the game that there are enough qualified Match Officials. Do you have 2020 vision?
We need you to assist the beautiful game stay beautiful. Have you retired from playing, coaching or managing? Do you play, though still have time to referee a match or two? Or do you simply love football and would like to become involved? Refereeing is a great way to keep fit and be paid twice a month! We particularly encourage young girls and women to become match officials.
Courses will run on Sunday 16th February (14-17 years of age), Saturday 22nd February (18 years and older) and Sunday 8th March (14-17 years of age).
To find out everything you need to know about becoming a referee with ESFA and how to register for our courses, please click here. All you have to do, prior to attending a course, is complete the Online Laws Of The Game and produce a copy of Certificate for the Instructors.
There are plenty of opportunities for advancement within your referee career with further courses and education, including a pre-season seminar, monthly technical sessions, mentoring and assessing.
