ESFA is proud to announce Maroubra United will once again host the Louise Mazzaroli Cup for 2023.
In the year of the FIFA Women’s World Cup, what greater time than to enter a team and show the football community the growth and strength of women’s football.
Louise Mazzaroli was a fundamental part of ensuring the O35 Women’s football competition was formed. This has now been reinvented into our O30s competition in the winter season.
Louise was also a brilliant mentor of our young female referees and is both a life member of ESFA and ESFA Referees Branch.
Louise lost her battle with cancer in 2011 and the Cup continues to celebrate her legacy.
This year is open to O30s and All Age Women. The Cup is a six a side competition and will be held at Latham Park, Maroubra on Saturday 4th March 2023. All profits will be donated to Two Good Co. who provide much needed assistance to rebuild self worth and independence of women to break free of the cycle of disadvantage.
This day is always a wonderful community event and we encourage all women to enter a team and join the comaradery and fun.
